Websites & back office for local business

A website that brings you work. And one place to run it all.

Arcbay builds the website your customers book from, and the screen you run your day on — appointments, customers, reminders, takings. Set up around how your trade actually works, and looked after by us, so it’s one less thing you own.

Most owners are running five subscriptions that don’t talk to each other, and doing the joining up themselves. This is the one system underneath all of it — built for your business, and run by us.

What you get

One system instead of five, and none of it your problem.

The parts that suit your trade are switched on. The parts that don’t are switched off, so what’s left is about your work rather than someone’s feature list.

  • A website people book from

Hand-designed for your business, on your own domain, quick on a phone. Not a template with your logo dropped in.

  • Your calendar fills itself

Customers pick a time that’s genuinely open and it lands on your screen straight away. No phone tag, no double-booking.

  • Fewer empty slots

Text and email reminders go out before every appointment, so the no-shows that quietly cost you a day stop happening.

  • Customers who come back

Punch cards where they suit you, and a nudge at the right moment — a smog due in two years, a detail due in three months.

  • No enquiry goes cold

Every call, form and message in one list, with what the person was looking at before they got in touch.

  • A front desk that moves

An iPad check-in that recognises a customer by phone number and shows nothing private on screen.

  • You can see the money

Today’s work, what’s owed and what came in, on one screen. Export it the moment your bookkeeper asks.

  • You never touch the tech

Domain, hosting, your Google listing, the updates, the support. Ours. You’ll never be asked about a nameserver.

How it adapts

Set up around the way your work actually arrives.

Some businesses sell booked time. Some chase a job through stages. Most want the customer back either way. You get the parts that match, and the rest stays off your screen.

Scheduling

When the work is booked time

A calendar that knows how many jobs you can run at once, so online bookings and walk-ins never collide. Reminders go out before each one, and the no-shows that quietly cost you a day stop happening.

Pipeline

When the work moves through stages

No calendar at all — an enquiry arrives with everything that person already looked at, and moves through your own stages. Deadlines that matter appear on their own as it advances.

Repeat business

When you want them back

Punch cards where they suit you, and a nudge at the right moment — something due again in three months, or a customer who always rebooks and this time hasn’t.

The screen you live on

Open it in the morning and the day is already laid out.

What’s booked, who’s waiting, what needs approving, what came in yesterday. In your own words — appointments, jobs, visits, showings, whatever you actually call them.

Your staff get only what they need. You get the whole picture, on the counter iPad or your phone at home.

Regulated trades We take these on, and we scope the compliance parts properly
  • Insurance agencies

Renewals are the whole job, so we build the reminder schedule around your book.

  • Mortgage brokers

Pipeline and milestones. The legally-timed disclosures we plan with your compliance people rather than guess at.

  • Law practices

Matters and filing dates. Client trust accounting is its own regulated animal and we scope it separately.

Tell us your trade

How it works

Four steps, and most of them are ours.

  1. 01

    Tell us about the business

A short form — a couple of minutes. No account, no card, no obligation.

  2. 02

    We design and build it

Your storefront, hand-designed for your brand, and the dashboard set up the way your trade actually works.

  3. 03

    We connect your domain

We point your web address at it (or get you one), load your real services and prices, and sort your Google listing.

  4. 04

    You open

You get your site, your login and a walkthrough — and we stay on to run it and pick up the phone.

Pricing

One bill instead of five.

A one-off build, then a monthly fee covering the hosting, the domain and us looking after it. We work out your number after you apply, once we know your trade and your services — no hourly surprises.

Questions

What exactly do I get? +

A website built for your business on your own domain, and a dashboard you run the day from — bookings or enquiries, customers, reminders, staff hours and takings. We build it, launch it, host it and look after it. You get a login and a phone number for when you need us.

What kinds of businesses do you work with? +

Local service businesses. If people book your time, or you chase work from enquiry through to done, it fits — car washes, detailers, salons, groomers, med spas, repair shops, smog stations, home services, studios, realtors and property managers all work the same way underneath.

Is it a template? +

No. Every site is designed for your brand — your colours, your logo, your services, your photos. That’s also why there’s a short application instead of an instant sign-up: we need to know what we’re designing.

How is this different from the booking app I already pay for? +

A booking app gives you an empty calendar and leaves the rest to you: the website is somewhere else, the loyalty is on paper, the marketing is a third bill, and none of them talk to each other. Arcbay is the whole thing in one place, set up for your trade, and run by us rather than handed over with a login and good luck.

Do you set it up for how my trade actually works? +

Yes — that’s the point of the application. Some businesses sell booked time and need a calendar that respects how many jobs can run at once. Some never book anything and instead move work through stages with deadlines attached. Most want the customer back either way. We turn on the parts that match how you actually operate and turn off the rest, so the screen isn’t cluttered with someone else’s features.

Do you work with insurance, mortgage or law? +

Carefully, and we’ll be straight with you about it. Insurance renewals we’ll happily build. For mortgage, the disclosure timing is set by law, and for law firms, client trust accounting is a regulated ledger with rules that differ by state — we plan those with your compliance people rather than shipping something that guesses. We’d rather say that up front than sell you a feature we haven’t earned.

Who owns the website and the customer list? +

You do. Your customers, your bookings, your domain, your data. We build it and run it, and we can hand it all over. Nothing about it is held hostage.

What does it cost? +

A one-off build, then a monthly fee that covers the hosting, the domain and us looking after it — no hourly surprises. The number depends on your trade, your services and the design, so we work it out after you apply. For most businesses it replaces $160–460 a month of separate subscriptions.

Do you only work in San Diego? +

That’s where we are, but everything is done remotely — we work with businesses anywhere in the US.

How long until it’s live? +

Usually a few weeks, depending on how quickly we settle your branding, services and domain. We’ll give you a timeline before you commit to anything.
